Ad Operations Manager

Demand Local is looking for a results driven professional to join our team as an Ad Operations Manager. Demand Local offers digital marketing solutions to top automotive dealers, dealer groups, and regional dealer associations across the country. This position is located in downtown San Francisco, CA.

Responsibilities

• Planning, implementation and monitoring of display campaigns
• Manage ad creation, ad trafficking, QA, optimization and reporting
• Managing client and vendor relations
• Ability to prioritize evolving tasks, problems and issues and meet deadlines
• Working directly with sales team to plan, set expectations and fulfill/deliver on goals

Experience

• Thorough understanding of ad tech, the ad sales process, campaign lifecycle, RTB ecosystem
• Awareness of programmatic media planning and buying using third party vendors
• Awareness of all forms of digital display advertising across all formats/devices
• Planning and executing mobile and desktop campaigns
• Reporting, Optimization, QA
• Fluency and hands on experience in Microsoft Excel
• Startup mentality, ability to function in a fast-paced, evolving climate

Pluses

• Hands on ad trafficking experience
• Knowledgeable in handling HTML5 creative formats
• Experience with direct buying
• Pub side/SSP awareness
• Agency Experience
• Ad creation/rich media creation awareness of platforms such as Celtra, Crisp etc.
• Familiarity with Internet programming and debugging; familiarity with common browser-based debugging tools
• Awareness/familiarity with HTTP response codes and their meanings

Education/other requirements

• Bachelors from a 4-year university with a strong academic record.
• 1-2 years minimum in digital advertising industry
• Strong written and communication skills
• A dedicated team player that is passionate about his/her work and is at the forefront of industry trends, and developments.
• Proven track record in client relationship management, opportunity identification, strategy development and tactical business solutions.
